As you can see everyone that comes to Aurora Pheasant Hunts has an enjoyable time ! Here are some pictures from a couple of hunts from the 2005 thru 2007 Pheasant Season. The people that hunt with us all say the same thing. The hunt was perfect just what they wanted. You will also see that people that hunt with us come back for more.
Here are some photos from the 2005 Gilbert Pheasant Hunt. This was our first hunt in this new location. The weather was perfect and so were the birds.
This is the pictures from the 2007 Gilbert Pheasant Hunt. The sad part of this hunt is that we are paying tribute to one of this countries finest soliders. Sgt. Thomas "Tommy" Gilbert of the USMC, Tommy lost his life responding to the aid of his fellow soldiers on Oct.25, 2006. This has changed the hunt from the annual Gilbert Pheasant Hunt to the Sgt. Tommy Gilbert Memorial Hunt. For he loved to hunt and he will always be huntinng with us. On a special note we started the Crown Royal Shoot out which is a lot of fun !
Here is a picture of Sgt. Thomas "Tommy" Gilbert. He was an avid sportsmen and loved the outdoors. It was our greatest pleasure to be able to say that we knew Tommy Gilbert. The family and friends of Tommy started a fishing day for kids that like to fish or want to learn to fish just click on Tommy's name and you will be taken to the website.
Below you will see one of our newest groups that came to us this year. These guys come to us from the Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska area. This group is mixed with friends and family and they come here to shoot birds and just have a time of their lives.
Here are the pictures from the 2nd annual Sgt. Thomas "Tommy" Gilbert Memorial Hunt. These guys are like family so we have a lot of fun with them. Also you will see this years newest winner of the Crown Royal Trap Shoot. Good Luck next year guys. The birds were outstanding again .
Look here these guys came back from Indiana again. This time we had some to make some changes for the last day of hunting and the guys ended up going into a field that has not had any pheasant hunting done for more than 3 years. The hunt on the last day lasted 30 minutes and all had limit. No released birds all live natural birds.
Here is a really neat couple of guys from Baton Rouge, LA. This is a father and son group one of the smallest groups I have had. These two have become very good friends of ours and we hope this is on their agenda for the 2009 season to come and see us again.
